In 2016, our founder was looking for the best solution to the hinges breaking on his coolers. A firefighter relative suggested using fire hose material and sent him a section of expired hose. After hand cutting hinges, testing, and sharing them with friends and family, he began selling them. The parts are now made from new, factory scrap hose, and professionally manufactured in the USA.
