BODEGA 12 Volt Car Refrigerator, 21 Quart (20L) Portable Freezer Car Fridge (-4℉~68℉), Electric Cooler for Vehicles, Truck, RV, Camping, Travel and Home Use - 12/24V DC & 100V-240V AC,WIFI APP ControlThis portable fridge/freezer is pretty darn cool. It basically looks like a small icebox. Has a water drain hole on the bottom (very useful in case liquids are formed due to condensation etc..) . Unit itself isnt "light" .. its a fridge keep that in mind, so on an empty ice box, it still has some heft. Your power options are basically AC plug and car cig lighter barrel port which are included. When youre connected to car, you should put the box in "H" safety mode to monitor its power usage to stop functioning if your car battery is about to run out. There are other modes like Med and Low, if your connecting to a direct 12v battery src. Of course with a AC outlet , this isnt necessary. The fridge has as basic display showing eco/normal status, current temp and target temp, and a lock button to prevent accidental presses. You can setup the display in F or C. You also have the novelty to use the fridge controls via bt/wifi. It is an app called QZsmart app (chinese app) that uses cloud to control the fridge. Its mainly useful if you are using the fridge at home (say garage..) for drinks.... You can setup the fridge entirely via app which is WAY more convenient than fiddling with the clunky controls on the fridge itself. I REALLY like this wifi smart control. You can literally check the fridge temp and change it remotely, or just turn it off/on, change eco/max mode, etc.... when youre not home (you obviously need to be comfortable with this). A small detail i like is that little LED lamp on the lid. helps see stuff when its darker. Almost not noticeable is a USB-A port to charge things like phones. It isnt a fast charger ... standard 2.4A. A black rubber cap hides it from front panel. This fridge cools pretty quick. If youre using it for keeping frozen food, you should pre-cool the unit for a decent a few hours. If youre using it as a fridge, literally its minutes and your ice box is around 5C perfect for food and drink. I mainly use this for fridge mode and so far have NO issues. ECO mode is what i use the ice box in mainly. I like how efficient it is with power. runs it down to target temp and then keeps it there , turning on the compressor when needed. You can hear when its on/off -- it isnt loud at all.. just noticeable and i dont mind that i can hear it functional. If you want to cool the box fast, use MAX mode and you will draw a bit more power. What i noticed is, in ECO mode, i setup the fridge at 7C and it kind of seems to "maintain" 8C.... I changed to MAX mode and it was more aggressive.Inside the box is a main compartment and a tiny little slot -- i'm not sure what you'd use it for to be honest.... ? but its there.... So in terms of tall beer cans, can easily fit 15.... can squeeze stuff in though to fit more. As i said before, the drain plug is very nice to have.A small little issue i had was setup. The app had some difficulty to connect to the fridge for initial setup. It wasnt able to detect the fridge. Had to manually find the fridge under car fridge section and type K and still had some trouble. I dont know how but it finally just started working. --- i tried the manual's mention of pressing +/- together etc.... wasnt working as is. Anyway , for whatever reason, it started working. Once i paired it, it worked fine thereafter. Controlling the fridge via the app is near instant.I'm really impressed. The price tag is pretty darn reasonable too (at this review, i got it for around 200) . Hard to find any complaints here other than longevity which i will only attest to after i use it longer. By the way, the company offers 2y warranty and you have to contact them thru amazon to get warranty service... 2y is not bad at all!!.
