I purchased this to keep in my car as I am a professional drone pilot and I’d like to keep refreshments in the car for myself and my friends so let me tell you this is one great product . Yes I put it through its paces and let me tell you it will not disappoint you if you want it on Below Zero yes it will go to below zero it will freeze anything in the refrigerator . It’s well-made great looking and most of all it works properly highly recommend !!!This is a first impression. I’ll update it after a year.I bought this to replace the smallest dometic brand. That lasted three years before the temp control stopped working and I wasn’t able to fix.This unit is lighter. It has a MUCH better cord plug, which is at an angle so it’s flush with the side when you place the unit against a wall or other boxy items. The plug of the dometic stuck out straight and was in danger of getting damaged or bent.This unit has electronic Temp control which is nice. That’s on the top. Yay. Not on the side near the bottom where it’s likely to be hard to see if the unit is among other items and gear. This unit has a mini ice tray which is so cute and actually works, but only enough for two beverages. Had they added an ice storage area, to store cubes while you made more, that would have been great. But hey. Any ice on a hot day far away from civilization is wonderful and I’ll give the engineer who did the design work a nice cold kiss.The structure seems good, but not as solid as the dometic. I sit on this unit carefully but had not a worry at all with the dometic which I treated as another seat, it was so solid. Note the dometic is much heavier, and some of that weight was probably in the structure. The dometic had a lid latch. This unit does not. I’m ambivalent.Power consumption is small, on par with the dometic. I have mine set to low. It has some other settings regarding how far you want toallow it draw down your battery. The controls are modestly easy to learn, and easy to work. It has a lock out to prevent accidental button activation. The control panel light stays on. It’s either annoying or a nice nightlight, depending. I put a pillow on top of mine for a bit of extra insulation, and now my aging Pom has taken up residence there.Two weeks after purchase I’m very happy. I would like to get 10 years use from this item. Is that an unreasonable expectation for the purchase price? I don’t feel it is. Most of the details that would allow that are very cheap. It’s the engineering that is really important. There are a lot of thoughtful features on this unit, so I hope there are more, even where they can’t be seen.Works great as a freezer. The bluetooth app works great. Great for trucking. The item will fit under the bed of a freightliner cascadia.My husband works outside in Georgia and didn’t want to keep buying ice every day. He took an expensive gamble and won. This has worked out well for him but it wasn’t cheap.I’m putting this up here to help the overlanders and dispersed campers that were spending far too long looking for a fridge like I was. This thing is great, it runs for 2 days off of my Jackery 300 (more if you have it running off the car power up until night time on the first day or drive multiple days in a row) and uses an average draw of only 3w on power saving mode, once every 5 or 10 mins it’s will draw more power to correct the temp.It fits ab 2 days worth of food for my gf and I plus a 6 pack, I recommend putting thin ice packs on the bottom and a rag to collect moisture, deep freeze the night before. This will keep power draw a lot lower. Ive brought it on multiple off-roading camps and the shaking hasn’t messed it up at all. I have the 20l and it’s also really light and a lot smaller than an ice chest.This is the best option for value (I wouldn’t want to abuse a super expensive fridge like this) and is good for weekend camping like I usually do, I use it as a mini fridge at home while I’m not camping so it’s well worth it. The temp isn’t the most accurate and can fluctuate but that’s the only con and it’s not a big one, I usually keep it around 40 fGreat fridge- used it on two camping trips hooked to my jackery and it worked amazing! Definitely worth the money. Only thing I don’t like are the controls, but for the price and how well it works I can’t complain!Got the 22L yesterday in good shape, let it set for a couple hours to drain down fluids and plugged it in to battery and it cooled down fast to my set to 34F, haven't tried it on 110V yet. The software in the manual is for the newer Android 10 phones but I downloaded Apicool T Series App and it works great. The controls in the app actually work faster then the controls on the cooler. Was surprised to see the little ice cube tray, it had hard ice before I went to bed last night, could also be used for a couple of ice cream bars, this is a really neat feature. Also has a little led light that comes on when you open the lid. It also has a USB port to charge your phone. The advertised 45 watt power rating is correct, this is what it read on my meter when it stated up on max cooling at 85F and quickly cooled down to 34F, it probably uses less amps on ECO mode. Checked it out after running all night and still working good and plugged it into my Aimtom 155wh power station and it is now running the cooler fine. I would buy this product again and recommend it because it is just the right height to get a half gallon carton of milk into is why I bought it in the first place.We purchased this for a road trip, and it was perfect! It kept drinks and snacks/food cold as we drove in the car, and we took it to hotel rooms and plugged it in for overnights. We are very happy with the quality and functionality of this little fridge/freezer!Refroidissement rapide, taille adaptée a la voiture.
