Had to install at an angle and is very close to seeming like it could be removed with lid closed but I couldnt get it out. So it serves my purposes.This seems like a nice piece and fits the Ozark Trail 73qt cooler exactly as described. For the price, I expected it to be stainless steel rather than aluminium. The lock hole is also smaller than pictured, which isn't really a problem as it still easily fits large shank locks easily.I installed it behind the handle strap so it wasn't as likely to cause stress points in the strap and cause it to tear. I would probably not have purchased this had I known it was aluminum to begin with though.One needs to be able to lock up their Roto Molded Cooler.This metal bar works perfectly and is a reasonable price.Great investment, i leave my cooler in the bed of the truck always stocked with cold water for my soldiers.
