Rotomolded coolers are heavy and the thick insulation in the poly walls leave less room for food than the coolers from yesterday. Unfortunately to have the long ice retention its gonna cost you- these are not inexpensive. Compared to the hundreds of Chinese made Yeti competitors this one is the best- I now own the 20qt for weekend trips and the 10qt for daily lunch on the jobsite- better handle and latch design than others, good color options to match your job box color or style. Most important these stay cool all day or longer in hot sun or shop.I really like the cooler, I have it's little brother and like it to. The website says "Made in the USA". Both of the boxes they arrived in said " made in china". I really dislike that because I wanted to buy American and thought I did.Great coolerThe construction is great but thats about it! A bag of ice doesn't even last a day. We've tried everything from chilling the drinks before putting them in to pre-chilling the cooler with ice before loading it. In the shade, sun, car, and garage we cannot get a bag of ice the last more than a day. I guess we will be using a different brand for the purchase of our larger coolers. Very disappointingTotal waste of money!!! Did not even keep ice for one day! Talked to them about coolers and they said they would waive the restocking fee if I sent them back. I paid $75 to send back and then they charged another $75 for the Free shipping when they sent it to me so I guess that's how they got their restocking fee back what a scam. Don't buy these coolers!!! You will be sorry and they are not a good company to deal with!
