This is an intereasting kit. It come with everything you need to mount to most basic bikes, but as you can imagine some modification, is likely to be required. In my case all i had to do was hammer the mounting plate flat! There are no instructions, there is a video on the page, but why would i watch that?? This turned out to be fairly slow, the one thing i wish i looked into more was the speed of the motor, it runs 420rpm that runs to a drive gear about 2.5x the size of the one on the motor, so imagine your back tire spinning about 200rpm, and thats how fast you go, kinda? I seem to be able to get going a little faster than that? My math says i shoud be able to go about 25km/hr with my 26inch back tire, but it seems closer to 30? Still dont expect a race bike, but if youre needing something to get you a little further that isnt going to have you dead tired at the end of the ride its pretty good.Weight, this is what amazed me, the weight of the whole kit was 15-20lbs? So if youre someone like me that carries your bike up a flight of stairs to your apartment, this is way better than i was expecting! Add a 5-10lb battery and the whole bike still only weighs around 50-60lbs!The idler on the motor is nice, it genunely didnt change how the bike works as a bike, and its not as bulky hanging on the side of the bike as you might imagine, everything still sits nice and tight to the frame.
